Seven billion reasons to take care of one planet, Dream carefully.

In 2011 I had the opportunity to travel to meet New Zealand, a breathtaking country because he are so beautiful. Had just finished my Advertisment graduate and my plans were very simple: 1) improve fluency in English 2) do a business course and 3)work to support myself. The first two items on the list were going well, but getting a job was the biggest challenge. One afternoon, after the studies, I spoke with the manager of pears and apples harvest in the hope of get something to do. But I knew that this conversation would change forever my way of seeing the world.

As every good Brazilian, the beginning of the conversation covered football and other amazing things that Brazil has. In time, I talked about the need that I had to work and if he had something for me. And the answer was surprising. He said:.. "Hey Brazilian nobody works now, Mother Nature is sleeping ... (Hey brasileiro, ninguém trabalha agora, a mãe natureza está dormindo" At the time I did not believe what he had told me. I would be out of work because "mother nature was sleeping"? Yes, And I was.

From there chapter, I began to understand better the relationship that we have with the planet. Upon returning to Brazil, I felt the responsibility to create something that brings results for the planet, so, I gathered some friends and we launched the campaign "Plant a Tree on facebook", where the idea was to exchange each "like" on our fanpage for a tree. The result? Sensational! In partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Forestry, we planted thousand trees!

We live in a partially individualistic and capitalist society where people confuse dreams with become rich at any cost. Even if you have not any error in becoming a millionaire, dreams should never consume our greatest treasure: the Planet. It's sad, but it´s that every each day we watch the news and hear examples like the Amazon Rainforest deforestation increased 191% in August and September 2014! Or that there are still people using water as if the source was inexhaustible.

I'm pretty sure that if all of us share the dream of building a better future, it actually will happen. Currently, I live in Brazil, I have a store called "Pé de Cedro" that 100of furniture are made from recycled woods, and our costumers love it. Recently, along with some business friends, we decided to create and launch the first portal for buying and selling products that allocate resources to charities, environmental causes and academic projects. The VADUKO.

This simple project, just are to say for people around me that It's time to wake up! Keep the radiante desire to create and undertake projects that meet the needs of seven billion dreamers scattered throughout various regions, religions and traditions around the world. We need dream carefully, with sustainable and supportive focus. Today, I do not keep any hurt by what Mother Nature have taught me in 2011, everything has right time to happen. I am convinced that it, or a force majeure had a dream for my life and that  situation, it could happen to you too. I should even go through some difficult days in the Kiwi Territory, but every each step was very constructive. Finally, I would to share with you the words of the young kiwi, now in my vision, with a different question; "Hey buddy, what's your dream for a better world?"
